Þumall

Þumall (The thumb) Alpine rock climbing

Duration - 2 days

Þumall is a sheer sided mountain that sits proudly against the southern edge of the mighty Vatnajokull icecap.
Getting there is a great adventure in itself which involves hiking through glacial carved valleys, scaling giant scree slopes, camping up high close to the ice cap and walking on a glacier. The rock climb isn't so easy either but the challenge is key and the views are of course second to none.
